TREATMENT

Oct 2022- Oct 2023
Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA)

As the NEA Book Fellow I completed book treatments, paper treatments, and a research project on mold remediation in community settings. I also assisted with collections surveys, and served on committees as part of CCAHA's new strategic plan.

Treatment projects for my third year in the WUDPAC program:

Summer 2020 & 2021
African American Museum of Philadelphia (AAMP)

A summary of working with AAMP for two consecutive summers: In 2020 I worked on AAMP's collection's policy and rehousing objects from the Anna Russel Jones Collection. In 2021 I treated objects from three different collections at AAMP with the help of the Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) for treatment supervision. I also digitized and uploaded part of one collection as part of the In Her Own Right project by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
